The Centre Leo Apostel, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in collaboration with the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana, Chlie (UTEM), and the University of the Philippines Diliman invite you to diverse perspectives on sustainability, environmental science, and international cooperation. The program combines theoretical frameworks - from cybernetics to philosophy - with practical applications in environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The structure moves from broad theoretical foundations to specific case studies and practical experiences, culminating in a philosophical examination of environmental politics. The day concludes with an open discussion, encouraging dialogue between all participants on cooperation and sustainability challenges.
This mix of theoretical and practical perspectives, combined with international cooperation examples, creates a comprehensive exploration of current approaches to sustainability challenges.
